I want to write a book.
When this is all over with, I want to write a book, a memoir of sorts.
I want to show the world just how much fun a single-sex school can be, how the comraderie between guys transcends blood, all the shit we did, all the havoc we raised. How being in a single-sex school allows you to let your hair down and just go wild. Without the presence of girls, we were free to be themselves and no one puts on those pretentious airs people do in JC, suddenly acting all gentlemanly when a girl is around. Please. Hypocrites.
I want to write about the blood, sweat and tears shed by us together in Catholic High.
Though admittedly it was definitely more blood and sweat than, if any, tears.
The second part of my book would denote my life In JC.
I want to tear down the negative image other schools have of NJC, of the mugger-ish attitude, the boring no life stereotypical NJC student. CJC has highest abortion rates? Please. This sort of thing runs rampant in every JC.
I want to share the optimism I first felt during Orientation '07. I want to chronicle all the good times I had attached in J1, all the shit we went through during hockey training, the shock, the desperation, and finally the regret.
Like it or not, both experiences have shaped the core of my personality and I won't soon forget them.
The title will be ' Chronicles of Sin'
(Maybe I'll publish under the pseudonym,'Felix'.Wouldn't be the first time I signed this name.)
Be it five, ten or twenty years, it'll come out.
