Life goal achieved.

I never thought I would ever complete one of these.
But somehow I managed to finish it.
The feeling when you cross the finish line is indescribable.
But the marathon itself was pure agony.
Me and Ming did well for the first 22k and were in good spirits as we started the run back from East Coast Park.
Then disaster struck.
It seemed like every kilometer after that brought with it a new problem.
Abrasions.
Cramps.
Being a first timer, I suffered horribly from lack of proper attire.
Ended up with multiple abrasions on horribly sensitive areas.
Although I told Ming to go on without me he continued to support and motivate me.
In the end, we made it.
Life goal achieved.
Next year, I intend to take part in the Adidas Sundown Marathon and the Osim Triathlon.
I hope I'm able to make it.
