This was quite the week
Friday, 5 December 2008
I ended up spending money like water this week.
Distinctly I remember I had two blue notes in my wallet come Monday morning.
Now I'm just left with 1 single frayed and torn purple note.
I am on the verge of declaring bankrupt.
So it was a hectic week.
Went for the Singapore Press Holdings Scholarship talk at swissotel monday morning.
I'm seriously considering taking it.
But it'll have to wait till after ORD due to the 8 week internship programme.
At least its a step closer to my dream.

(Its hard to post pictures when you didn't bring a camera to prom. You end up having to get pictures from others piecemeal. Rookie mistake.)
After nipping back home to change, it was back to swissotel in the evening for Prom.
It was my first prom.
Not too sure what to expect, but I guess it turned out alright.
Lots of picture taking, camwhoring, and trying to recognise people(especially girls) after an extreme makeover that would not seem out of place on cable TV.
Yet, even as a finale, I've since come to realise that NJC is literally LITERALLY the most boring JC in Singapore. Attendance at the post prom party was lackluster at best, and half the people there weren't even from NJC. Kudos to those from NJ who went. We just seriously chose the wrong place to be. Should have listened to Swan and went to Zouk. I met up with ming today and he told me about his post-prom party.
"Butter Factory was filled to capacity and there was an extremely long queue outside the club just waiting to get in! Before I left the hotel everyone was calling each other to share cab down to the different clubs! In the end I had to walk all through Clarke Quay to find a club with space and even then it was a tight squeeze."
It sounds LOADS better than NJ's.
Be it the best or the worst JC, either end of the spectrum can beat NJ hands down.
Pathetic.
