Time Maximisation
Monday, 10 August 2009

In a meer 36 hours, I managed to watch 3 movies.
That's just 1 1/2 days!
If that's not considered effective time management, I don't know WHAT is.
Yesterday, straight after guard duty, I rushed down to Jurong Point and spent like most of my day that.
Caught GI Joe and Up there.
Today, at Cineleisure, I caught The Hangover.
(Up till now, no one wants to watch the new Jack Neo show other than me. Rahh.)

GI JOE
CRAP. A serious load of bullshit. It tries to be cool, tries to emulate transformers and star wars, adds a ton of special effects, but it plain stinks. The plot is convulted and unnecessarily cliched. Not to mention predictable. The main actor(the male lead from She's the Man) only has one expression: Constipated Angst. Skip this show if you can.

UP
I didn't have much expectations for this show. But it's actually very touching and sad. More sad than anything else. It's not even a true happy ending, more like characters accepting their fate in life and learning how to cope with it. If you watch it and don't feel the least bit of sympathy for Mr Frederickson, you don't have a soul.

THE HANGOVER
This show is awesome! The name says it all! Though the jokes are honestly adult- mature level jokes so my more innocent peers wouldn't be able to understand it at all. Basically, if you enjoyed American Pie(The original three), you're going to adore this.

Ahhhh. That's it for my long weekend. RUINED by a bout of guard duty in between.
I'll probably be leaving the house soon.
And my homework is uncompleted!

And we need to start taking better pictures. Like seriously.
